SECRETARY RICHARDSON TO VISIT SAVANNAH RIVER SITE ON JUNE 24, 1999 WHO: Secretary of Energy Bill Richardson will visit the Savannah River Site (SRS) Thursday, June 24, 1999 to make an announcement concerning the future of 10,000 acres at the site. WHAT: 8:30 am Photo opportunity only with Secretary Richardson and elected officials. 9:00 am Dedication ceremony with Secretary Richardson and South Carolina Department of Natural Resources in tent in front of Main Administration Bldg. (Bldg. 703-A) Media availability will follow ceremony. Following the ceremony and media availability, invited guests and media will have opportunity to ride through the wildlife management and ecological reserve.
