The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) will hold a Site Preparation Ceremony for its Mixed Oxide (MOX) Fuel Fabrication Facility at the Savannah River Site (SRS) on Friday, October 14, 2005. What: A NNSA ceremony to mark upcoming site preparation for construction of the MOX facility. Where: Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC. The MOX site is located in F-Area near the center of the site. When: At 10 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2005. Who: NNSA Administrator Linton Brooks and U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham will be keynote speakers. All reporters, photographers, and film crews should arrive at the SRS Badging Office no later than 9 a.m. SRS has new badging requirements and it takes about 20 minutes to check-in. Please call James Giusti if you plan to attend by 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2005. SRS will provide a shuttle bus from the Badging Office to F-Area and back.
