October 30, 2009 has been designated by Congress as a National Day of Remembrance for past and present workers in America’s nuclear weapons program, recognizing these Cold War Patriots for their contributions, service and sacrifice toward the defense of our Nation..
The Department of Energy Savannah River wants to thank all past and present SRS workers and all other attendees for helping to make the first National Day of Remembrance celebration a success.
